If only the quest rewards were worth doing the quests for them. 2k exp and 250g? Fair enough, if its a "step outside the portal and talk to the closest guy" quest, but when the quest goes like "deliver this to X, find out X is dead, go to Y, who tells you to go to Z, who tells you to go back to Y who then tells you to go all the way back to X, give some antidote, go back to Y who once again tells you to go back to Z who finally tells you have to go hand it into A, who is in a complely different area" is just not worth the time (and possibly effort) that you put into doing it.

Sure, the skill rewards are ok, but please, have the decency to add worthwhile exp and gold rewards.

XP is pretty worthless in GW, the gold rewards need a significant boost though. Either that, or maxed weapons, runes etc.

Yeah what you said was true basically all MMO's are go out kill "random number" of "random monster" but all MMO's major MMO's have something that makes them different. I say just try new builds buy more skills thats what i find amazing about this game the tactics and open end builds open to you.

If by better you mean do the quests stop being like fedex quests? The answer is pretty much no. There are a few unique quests, but most involve go kill this, or deliver that from point a to point b, ect, ect....

At least they're not like some Factions quests. Especially some of the Kaineng Center quests. Yeesh. That one that has you run all over the entire Kaineng area talking to government employees (and not even in a smooth linear order, often it's "ok now we head back, ok now we head forward, back, forward, etc") all over the place is rediculous...though the name is apt. >_> Can't recall the title, however.

Ah well. It's something to do, right? And killing monsters is always fun...don't worry, just keep going and you'll run into different monsters, about when you get bored of those you'll run into another set...assuming you don't linger -that- long in any one region. (No such luck in Factions. Yay, more Afflicted to fight. -Joy-.)

There should be more quests like this one:

And more that require strategies, different types of damage, etc...
I agree with this post. Everything in Guild Wars requires very little though process, there is a big green arrow telling you exactly where to go. Makes it hard to have varied quests like that.

I like the little green arrow, since I don't always have the time or want to spend an hour looking for that area/NPC. Directions aren't always that specific enough in the quest log for there not to be one.

Primaries should have the little green arrows.
Optional quest things should have more detailed log, no green arrow, and increased reward.
